The Petrol Station set presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a vintage Fabuland set, it benefits from the theme's dedicated fanbase and increasing rarity. The low piece count might limit its appreciation potential compared to larger sets, but its complete condition and original packaging can significantly impact its value. Given the rising price trend, securing a well-preserved set could yield decent returns over time, but be aware of potential market fluctuations and the set's relatively low piece count.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to modern City petrol station sets, the Fabuland Petrol Station offers a simpler, more whimsical design. While lacking the intricate details of newer sets, its retro charm and unique character selection make it a desirable collectible for Fabuland enthusiasts. Newer sets offer more advanced building techniques and features, but lack the nostalgic appeal of this classic.
