📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Shoot 'N Save is a charming, albeit simple, promotional set from the LEGO Soccer theme. Released in 2003 as an FC Bayern Promo Edition, it captures the fun of a penalty shootout with a functional play feature. It's a nostalgic piece that appeals to both LEGO and soccer fans.

This set is perfect for collectors of LEGO Soccer sets or fans of FC Bayern Munich. The build is quick and easy, making it suitable for younger builders or those looking for a small, fun project. It's also a great display piece for showcasing your love of soccer and LEGO.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex or highly detailed LEGO set. The build is quite basic, and the play feature, while functional, is limited. Consider larger LEGO Soccer sets or other sports-themed sets for a more challenging and immersive experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Shoot 'N Save (FC Bayern Promo Edition) has decent investment potential due to its age, limited release as a promotional set, and the popularity of the LEGO Soccer theme. While the piece count is low, the set's rarity and appeal to both LEGO and soccer collectors could drive up its value over time. The stable price trend suggests consistent demand. However, the set's simplicity might limit its appreciation compared to larger, more complex sets. Keep in mind that the condition of the box and instructions will significantly impact its value.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Championship Challenge

Compared to other LEGO Soccer sets, Shoot 'N Save is a smaller, more focused set. While sets like 3409-1 Championship Challenge offer more elaborate play scenarios, this set provides a simple and affordable entry point into the theme. Collectors may prefer this set for its promotional status and the inclusion of FC Bayern branding. If you are looking for a more complex build, consider larger soccer-themed sets. If you want a quick and easy set to display your love for soccer, this is a good choice.
