As a small, vintage set from the Classic Town theme, 2849-1 Helicopter has some potential as a collector's item. Its low piece count and single minifigure limit its appeal to serious investors, but the nostalgia factor and relative scarcity could drive up its value over time, especially for sealed copies. However, its widespread availability in the late 90s means it's not exceptionally rare, tempering expectations. Consider it a long-term hold with modest appreciation potential.
