Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Police Station 2672-1 presents a modest investment opportunity, primarily driven by its age and nostalgic appeal. As a vintage Duplo set from 1991, it attracts collectors interested in the history of LEGO. The set's limited piece count and relatively common availability may limit its potential for significant appreciation. However, well-preserved sets in their original packaging could see a gradual increase in value over time, especially among Duplo enthusiasts and those seeking to complete their collections of classic town themes. Investors should be aware that the market for vintage Duplo sets is niche and may not offer the same returns as more popular LEGO themes.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to modern LEGO City police stations, the 2672-1 Police Station offers a simpler, more child-friendly building experience with its Duplo bricks. While modern sets like 60316-1 Police Station provide greater detail and complexity, the 2672-1 appeals to collectors of vintage LEGO and those seeking a nostalgic building experience. Its larger bricks are easier for young children to handle, making it a better choice for toddlers than the smaller LEGO bricks found in City sets.
