📝 Our Take

Fire Engine is a delightfully nostalgic blast from the early days of LEGO's toddler-focused lines. With just 3 chunky pieces, this vintage 1985 Town set captures the pure, indestructible charm of classic pre-System building.

This set is perfect for vintage LEGO collectors and fans of retro Duplo history. The minimal piece count makes it an instant display piece for anyone nostalgic for 1980s nursery toys.

Skip this if you are looking for an intricate building challenge or modern minifigures. At only 3 pieces, you might want to look at a modern LEGO City fire station instead.

As a vintage 1985 Duplo set with an extremely low piece count, Fire Engine is a niche collector's item rather than a traditional building set. While its current market price has risen to around $57, its value is entirely driven by nostalgia and completeness for vintage Town and Duplo completionists rather than brick-building utility. It holds steady as a conversation piece, but investors should view it as a quirky collectible rather than a high-growth asset.
