Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Cole DX, released in 2011, presents a unique investment opportunity due to its age, exclusive minifigure, and relatively low piece count. The set has already shown significant price appreciation since retirement, and the continued popularity of the Ninjago theme suggests further growth potential. However, the small size of the set and the potential for condition issues with the included trading cards should be considered. Demand for complete, unopened sets with pristine cards will likely drive future value.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Cole DX is a smaller, more focused set compared to larger Ninjago vehicles or buildings. While sets like the Fire Temple offer a more extensive building experience, Cole DX provides an affordable entry point into the Ninjago theme and a valuable addition for minifigure collectors. The spinner functionality also offers a unique play feature not found in static display sets.
