📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Fire Ant is a surprisingly detailed micro-creature packed into a tiny 25-piece polybag. Released as a Creator promotional set, it cleverly utilizes specialized clips, jumper plates, and inverted radar dishes to capture the aggressive, segmented anatomy of a real ant.

This set is perfect for nostalgic impulse buyers, nature enthusiasts, and LEGO micro-build fans. Taking just a few minutes to snap together, it offers a fun desk toy and a masterclass in how very few elements can convey organic shapes and posture.

Skip this if you are looking for a substantial building challenge or modern minifigure-scale play. At only 25 pieces, it's essentially a quick stocking stuffer, though its retired status makes it a fun novelty for completists.

⏳ Retired

As a tiny retired promotional Creator set from 2020 with just 25 pieces, the Fire Ant is more of a nostalgic curiosity than a serious financial portfolio asset. Currently trading around $5.30, its growth potential is inherently limited by its micro-scale and niche subject matter, though low entry costs mean you won't lose much holding it. While it features some surprisingly useful parts like dark red plates and mechanical arms, the aftermarket demand for this specific polybag remains relatively quiet. Investors looking for serious appreciation should look toward larger Creator Expert or Modular buildings rather than impulse-tier polybags.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to standard Creator 3-in-1 sets, the Fire Ant is a standalone promotional polybag rather than a multi-build kit. While larger sets offer more complex building value, this set punches above its weight class in creative part usage relative to its minuscule piece count.
