Pushrods, Cylinder Housings is a foundational train accessory pack. Released in 1981 as part of the LEGO Train theme, this small set provided essential components for motorizing and detailing steam engines, enhancing the realism and functionality of LEGO train layouts.

This set is perfect for LEGO train enthusiasts and collectors of vintage LEGO parts. While not a building set in the traditional sense, it offers crucial elements for upgrading and maintaining classic LEGO trains.

Skip this if you're looking for a complete building experience or modern train features. Consider modern LEGO train sets like 60197-1 Passenger Train or 60198-1 Cargo Train for contemporary designs and remote-control functionality.

C+

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Pushrods, Cylinder Housings set, while small, holds moderate investment potential due to its age, rarity, and specific use within the LEGO train community. Its value is tied to the demand for vintage train parts and the restoration of classic LEGO train sets. The limited piece count and specialized nature of the parts mean it won't skyrocket in value, but well-preserved sets could see gradual appreciation. Consider that demand is niche, limited to serious train collectors.
