The Around The World set (11015-1) presents a mixed investment profile. As a retired LEGO Classic set, it benefits from the theme's broad appeal and educational value, potentially attracting parents and collectors interested in simple, displayable models. The relatively low MSRP of $49.99 makes it accessible, which could drive demand. However, LEGO Classic sets are generally produced in larger quantities, mitigating significant price appreciation. While it may not become a highly sought-after collectible, it could see modest gains, particularly if kept in pristine condition. Collectors seeking substantial returns may find better opportunities in licensed themes or limited-edition sets.

The Around The World set offers a broad range of small builds, contrasting with sets focused on a single, larger model. Compared to LEGO Architecture sets, it's less detailed but more accessible for younger builders. While sets like 11013-1 (Creative Suitcase) offer more general building blocks, 11015-1 provides specific models and cultural themes.

The LEGO Classic Around the World set (11015-1) receives mixed feedback in the YouTube community. While specific details are limited, it's generally viewed as a set with building ideas, as highlighted by Doc Bricko, but not necessarily a standout product like the LEGO Globe, which Tiago Catarino finds amazing as a display set.
