📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Underminer Bank Heist brings superhero action right to the playroom with a fast-paced Juniors set. Featuring quick-start chassis elements, this 2018 release was specifically engineered to transition younger builders smoothly from DUPLO to standard system bricks without frustrating assembly steps.

This set is perfect for young Incredibles fans and beginner builders looking for instant play value. With a compact bank vault, the Incredibile, and the Underminer's tunneler machine, it provides a complete storyline right out of the box with zero waiting around.

Skip this if you are an adult collector seeking complex building techniques or display-grade detail. Because it relies heavily on large molded chassis pieces and simplified builds, it lacks the intricacy that older fans typically look for.

⏳ Retired

As a retired Juniors set from a licensed Disney-Pixar movie tie-in, Underminer Bank Heist occupies an interesting niche for collectors. With only 149 pieces and a low initial MSRP, its secondary market trajectory depends heavily on the enduring popularity of The Incredibles franchise and the specific minifigures included, particularly Underminer who only appeared in this set. However, because Juniors sets utilize large, specialized molded chassis pieces rather than standard system bricks, they generally lack the broad parts-utility appeal that MOC builders look for. Furthermore, since market price history is currently unknown for this specific set, potential buyers and sellers should approach it with caution, as niche licensed junior sets can sometimes struggle to find high-demand secondary markets compared to major system releases.

Compared to standard City or superhero sets from the same era, the Juniors line prioritizes immediate playability over complex building steps. While sets like 10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit offer similar superhero action at a comparable price point, the inclusion of the bank vault and unique villain vehicle gives this set a slight edge in play scenarios.

3 Minifigures Included

Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl)

The set includes Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and the villain Underminer, making it a fantastic way to grab the main characters without breaking the bank. The Underminer minifigure is particularly notable as he remains exclusive to this specific set.
