📝 Our Take

General Grievous is a striking, if somewhat spindly, addition to the UCS line. Released in 2008, this set captures the menacing presence of the Separatist general with surprising accuracy using LEGO elements. The model prioritizes accuracy and scale over playability, making it a fantastic display piece for Star Wars enthusiasts.

This set is perfect for older teens and adult collectors seeking a unique challenge. The build is more intricate than it appears, utilizing a variety of Technic and System pieces to achieve Grievous's complex skeletal structure. Display appeal is high, especially when posed dynamically.

Skip this if you prefer minifigure-scale builds or prioritize play features. This is a static model, not intended for swooshing around the living room. Consider the 75312-1 Boba Fett's Starship for a more play-oriented experience.

⏳ Retired

The General Grievous UCS set presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired Star Wars UCS set, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity. The set's age and relatively low piece count compared to other UCS sets may limit its potential for explosive growth. However, well-maintained, complete sets should see steady appreciation, especially as the supply dwindles.
