The Letter Bricks for Wall Board set holds moderate investment potential due to its vintage status and educational theme. Complete sets in good condition are relatively rare and command a premium among collectors of vintage LEGO educational products. The set's unique lettered tiles also make it desirable for parts collectors. However, the market for Duplo sets is generally smaller than for standard LEGO, limiting potential appreciation. Condition and completeness are critical factors in determining its value. Keeping the box and instructions will significantly increase its worth.

Compared to modern LEGO education sets, the Letter Bricks for Wall Board is significantly simpler and focuses primarily on letter recognition. Modern sets often incorporate more complex concepts like coding and robotics. However, the vintage set offers a nostalgic charm and a tangible connection to LEGO's history. Collectors might prefer this for its rarity, while educators might opt for newer sets with more advanced features.
