Why Doesn’t Zane Use That Blue Face Anymore and How Did it Work?

This is something I didn’t think much of until I started rewatching Ninjago. So, ever since Zane became the titanium ninja (mainly before the redesigns), anytime he wore his hood his face would always turn blue and his face would have a eye that looks similar to his damage face from Rebooted.
