Why do you think Lego is so opposed to modern... conflict?

So this isn't way to back-door "begging Lego for military sets" - I know we're not getting any. Rather, it's more a philosophical question: why do you think Lego is so opposed to, say, doing a fighter jet in military grey, or something like that?
