Why an evil boarding school specifically, Misako?

So I’m doing a Ninjago rewatch (I haven’t fully watched since season 9) and I’m in season 2 and I’m brought back to the thing that always bugged me. Why did Misako leave Lloyd at the boarding school for bad boys? Now I’m not asking why she “abandoned” him. That was made very clear by the show. She was looking into ways to stop the battle of good and evil from happening so Lloyd wouldn’t have to fight his father. I get why she left him at a boarding school.
