When is a good deal not so good?

When you didn't stop to think that someone's World Map alternate build will need to be taken apart so you can build it the way you want it. I bought this from another Lego collector for $50 but the work ahead of me is almost overwhelmingly anxiety inducing. The bucket on the left is all of the other loose pieces that I also need to separate.
