What is this piece?

Recently rediscovering my old Lego from childhood/teenage years (born 91 so were not talking toooo long ago) and came across this. I had many different sets through those years (technic, Star Wars, city, space, etc etc) so I can’t say where it came from but it seems so specific! Any ideas what it was used for? Thanks Edit: SOLVED! Thanks everyone, it is from 6919-1 ‘Planetary Prowler’ Set. I unlocked some major flashbacks once I saw the packaging 😄👍 submitted by /u/im_called_dave ...
