What am I missing? Near last step on Succulent building

I don’t understand why you add the red rods to underneath the little succulent. It doesn’t do anything to secure it. I thought maybe I missed a step or part, but didn’t see anything in the manual. submitted by /u/CoastalLife321 [link] [comments]
