The builder explains that the project required an immense amount of time to design, print, and finally assemble, resulting in a frustrating experience that has completely changed their approach to future custom builds.

The design process evolved from simple plain rectangles on the upper tier to more complex, decorative arches for the second shelf. Ultimately, the creator concluded that incorporating the arched design was mostly a waste of effort. The arduous building process has ultimately convinced the designer that they no longer want to attempt making LEGO-compatible modular shelves piece by piece, resolving instead to print future shelving units fully assembled.
