Thoughts on first go at ballasting and adding some environmental additions?

Any feedback for adding some ballasting to my track? (shout out to Lguage for the instructions to do the main ballasting of the track itself) for a winter village display? It has a mountain in the background with a tunnel on the left, with the track heading into a village station. This just the first section I'm attempting to set the vibe. Too busy? All right? Colour suggestions? It's my first year proper ballasting track for my annual exhibition and want to add some more detail to the track...
