This scene from season eight gave me some..ideas (season four of dr spoilers)

As I was rewatching season eight, and this is the second post I make where I mention that, I noticed how this scene where Mistake explained the tea that was going to save La-loyd needed some elemental energy to work properly kinda mirrors the scene we saw in dr season four part two; the one I enlisted in the post attachments. I wonder if that was something planned with Lloyd's powers all along? Perhaps some early concepts were made that long ago? I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case...
