Im at Legoland Billund and notice they sell some “exclusive” LEGO sets of the park, which includes the iconic dragon coaster, which itself is based in the vitage dragon Lego piece. But the LEGO set uses a different piece to represent a representation of a Lego piece. Of course I understand the lego dragon is out of print, and they won’t make a specific part for a small exclusive set but I found the correlation ironic.
