The Winter Castle - Alternate Build of 2 x 75645 Battle of Drum Castle

LEGO builder and community member wurger49 has unveiled an impressive alternate build titled "The Winter Castle," which combines two copies of the newly released set 75645 Battle of Drum Castle into a massive, snow-covered fortress. Inspired by the iconic mountain stronghold from the *ONE PIECE* universe, this custom creation expands significantly upon the original set's design to capture the grand and imposing silhouette seen in the source material.

The Winter Castle transforms the combined pieces of two set 75645 models into a towering architectural masterpiece featuring fairy-tale-inspired elements, including a tall central keep flanked by dual towers, steep snow-covered gable roofs, and soaring conical spires. Two large outer towers frame the main structure to create a dramatic vertical profile, while the facade showcases Gothic-style arched windows, stone walls, projecting masonry, decorative buttresses, and extensive winter detailing alongside a fortified central gatehouse.

Beyond its striking exterior, the rear of the model opens up to reveal a fully detailed multi-level interior complete with furniture, decorations, and various rooms. Builders can easily access and view several floors that house living spaces, working areas, storage rooms, and a large throne room situated at the top of the keep.

While this majestic fortress serves as an incredible homage to *ONE PIECE*, it also functions wonderfully as a standalone medieval winter castle for fans of classic castle builds. Projects of this scale require sorting massive piles of elements, so you might want to organize your pieces with a LEGO storage organizer before diving into a dual-set alternate build like this one.
