The time traveling scene doesn't make sense

First of all, of they used the golden weapons to destroy the mega-weapon and the gold was sent to an planet, how did the old Ninjas then beat the Devourer without them or beat the skeletons? And why did smoke came in the real world, like the world isn't gonna end if the Ninjas didn't existed. Also there's no explanation what happend to Lloyd, Lloyds mum and Wu after the Ninjas came back.
