The Stagecoach is done. I've made both a western frontier looking one and a baroque carriage version.
LEGO builder /u/Meesayousa has officially completed a brand-new, highly creative stagecoach creation that features advanced building techniques. The builder has designed two distinct variations of the model: one inspired by the rugged stagecoaches of the western frontier, and another styled after the opulent royal carriages of the baroque era.
The build incorporates clever engineering, utilizing an entirely upside-down construction for the main coach body. Additionally, the chests resting on the roof are securely held in place by pins attached directly to the holes in 1x3 inverted tiles. The final physical build is also designed to feature functioning front suspension, although the builder notes that digital rendering in Bricklink Studio was unable to fully simulate the mechanism due to a lack of support for compressible shock absorbers.
The creator remains undecided on which of the two stylistic variants is superior and actively invites feedback, comments, and suggestions from the community for alterations or additional cool details. While bringing complex MOCs (My Own Creation) like this to life, builders working on intricate custom designs often find it handy to keep a brick separator nearby to easily adjust tricky connections and inverted tiles.
Yet another wacky creation! 😁 The Stagecoach is now fully done. This model incorporates a lot of fancy and creative building techniques. The whole coach part is actually built fully upside down and the chests on the roof are held on by pins attached to the holes in the 1x3 inverted tiles. I have made two distinct versions. One inspired by the stagecoaches from the western frontier and another inspired by royal carriages from the baroque era. I cant really decide which version I prefer, as I...
