The LEGO Group Announce $1.3 Million Grants to Greater Richmond

The LEGO Group is investing over $1.3 million in grants to benefit children in the Greater Richmond region, furthering its commitment to the community even before its factory becomes operational. The $1.3 million grant will be distributed among eight local organizations, providing children and families with playful learning experiences. The funding also extends support to six existing nonprofit organizations, including the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU and Girls For A Change. Since 2023, the LEGO Group's grantmaking in the region has impacted over one million children. In 2025, LEGO Manufacturing Virginia employees volunteered more than 2,000 service hours to deliver playful learning experiences to children in the area.
