Much like the real thing, my L-Gauge model of Southern 2716 suffered some major mechanical failures early in its career that sidelined it from excursion service indefinitely. However, I am pleased to say that after a complete teardown and rebuild to a new design (thank you Brick Train Depot & Sava Railways!) that the lone Saluda class locomotive is back in action and running better than ever!
