Rivendell Reverse Build

Hi all, I got the Rivendell set a while ago and love it, however, where it's displayed is a corner, but specifically a right corner so the largest part of the set sticks out and more than 1 person has caught the edge slightly, so I thought, would it be possible / easy to rebuild the whole set, but inverted so it looks better and doesn't get damaged? Has anyone ever done this, would it be possible are there any pieces that only go one way?, how easy was following the instructions? It feels...
