Previous green ninjas just doesn’t make sense

No matter how you feel about the existence of previous green ninjas, you have to admit that most of it doesn’t make sense at all, how were the previous green ninjas decided if the Golden Weapons had been under the FSM/ Wu and Garmadon’s protection for thousands of years after the FSM passed away? unless they lost them for centuries, which is highly unlikely, and if they didn’t lose them and they assisted in finding the green ninjas before Lloyd, wouldn’t they know that there are other green...
