Personal opinion: Arin is whiney brat.

Arin seemed like a likeable character at first and it sucks that he lost his parents in the Merge. I still sympathize with him over the loss of his parents. However, as the show went on, it became clear to me that Arin is an easily offended, whiney brat. Examples include: Almost everything that came out of his mouth during training with Lloyd was, "I'll never be good enough". "I'm not cut out to be a Ninja". "I'll never be as good as Lloyd".
