Not sure what LEGO master builders were thinking here.
LEGO builder /u/BugsISKing shared an interesting observation about the Yoda Starfighter set (75360). The builder noticed a design quirk that might have LEGO fans scratching their heads.
When constructing the Yoda Starfighter (75360), the canopy is mounted upside down. This design choice prevents the canopy from opening correctly, as it collides with the blasters on either side. The canopy is also designed to hinge down, rather than up, which is not accurate to the source material.
Fortunately, /u/BugsISKing discovered a simple fix. By swapping two 2x2 bricks, builders can adjust the canopy's orientation, making it more accurate to the source material.
If you're a fan of the Yoda Starfighter (75360) and want to improve its accuracy, you might want to consider this simple modification. You might also want to get a LEGO storage box to keep your bricks organized.
so I recently picked up the older yoda starfighter (75360). I love this fighter, it reminds me of the guppy from no man's sky. so as im building it I noticed lego has you mount the canopy upside down, and because of the size of it, it doesnt even open in between the blasters, it hits on both sides. but the canopy isnt supposed to hinge down, its supposed to hinge up. luckily, if you swap these 2 x2 bricks, its alittle closer to lore accurate. submitted by /u/BugsISKing [link] ...
