Ninjago fans, if the newer elemental masters or elements were in S4 alongside the previous, would anything change

I know there is a tournament in DR, but what in asking is of the elemental masters in DR, AND the elemental masters from S4 took part in the same tournament, same elements, but the ninja would be alot weaker than they currently are, would anything change?
