Need help with moc

I’m building a sandworm from Dune, I have built these individual links that I will connect, and hinge to put on an angle. I cannot get the connection with the angle right. I have now started to try a ball joint connection, but apparently it still doesn’t work in studio. I’ve tried everything and I cannot get it to work. Does anyone know if the connection will work in real life(with tension/stress) even if in studio it says it’s not working? Thanks submitted by /u/bomb_h14 [link] ...
