Need help with horizon express double traction

I have 4 horizon express trains(not original lego) and want to make a double traction, combining two locomotives front to front, does anybody have a idea how i could do this, only removing the parts as shown in the pictures. I tried with some lego technik pipe pieces but then they derail in the r40 lego curves. submitted by /u/Elishah_ [link] [comments]
