Need advice on personalizing Orange Cat (21376) build

I just recently finished the new Orange Cat (21376) build. As an orange cat parent, I love this design. It's so close to my actual orange cat that I'm considering personalizing the set to get it even closer. This would be my first time attempting something like this (and this is only my 3rd LEGO build), so I could use some advice. I’ve included a picture of the build and my cat for reference.
