My son's SC SUV collection

Reddit user /u/grotatam has shared an exciting showcase of their son's impressive Speed Champions SUV collection, highlighting a growing fleet of custom and official brick-built off-road vehicles. The post highlights the creativity and dedication of young builders who take the popular 8-stud-wide vehicle scale and apply it to rugged, larger-than-life sport utility vehicles.

The collection showcases the distinct aesthetic of the Speed Champions theme, which typically focuses on sleek sports cars and racing legends, but adapts those intricate building techniques to capture the boxy proportions, aggressive stance, and detailed interiors of modern SUVs. These custom creations demonstrate clever parts usage, utilizing slopes, tiles, and grilles to replicate headlights, grilles, and spare tires mounted on the rear.

Building and displaying a growing fleet of custom vehicles requires plenty of space and organization for spare parts. Fans inspired by this impressive collection can keep their building areas tidy with a LEGO storage organizer or pick up a LEGO display case to proudly showcase their own custom car builds on a shelf or desk.
