My latest bird MOC: the misterious Purple Heron

I’ve been building a series of birds in LEGO, and this Purple Heron is one of my most ambitious so far. I spent a lot of time trying to reproduce its proportions and especially the rather complex colour pattern of the real bird. The head, legs and wings are poseable, and I also designed two different wing configurations: closed for a more compact and stable look, or open for a more dramatic pose.
