My hot take about midi scale

I don't think the midi scale sets need stands. They look just fine without them, and can sit on a flat surface with no issue. To me it seems like they just threw in the stands as an excuse to market them as 18+ display models and charge more. The whole point of midi scale should be a cheap alternative to get large ships, but most of these are around $100 CAD. The original 2 midi scale sets from 2009 and 2010 had no stands, and were marketed to kids. But adults could enjoy them just as well,...
