Flooded Lego

Does anyone have a better idea to recover Legos that were partially submerged? I had a water pipe burst with some Legos by it. Best idea I can come up with is layering paper towels in a box with holes drilled in it to try and slowly wick out the moisture. I’d appreciate it. It’s kinda my backlog so I’m not concerned about the boxes, loosing the instructions suck but oh well. I’m just hoping I can recover the pieces and not have them smell/get moldy, and maybe the stickers if possible. Edit:...
