My favourite train sets of 2025

910044 Wild West Train Wow. Just wow. I love steam trains, and this just may be the best train set of all time. The level of detail and functionality here is unmatched. The engine looks incredible. The brick-built cowcatcher looks way better than the molded one, the working valve gear is perfect in motion, the designer was thoughtful enough to include alternate instructions so it can run on curved track, and the cab interior has nice details.
