My collection of modified Jack Stone figures

LEGO fans can repurpose their neglected Jack Stone figures, transforming them into accessories for model cars, trains, and airplanes. This modification allows you to equip the figures with various minifigure heads and headgear, creating perfectly proportioned additions for 1:32 or 1:35 scale models.

The process involves several steps. First, you must carefully break the figure's neck by pushing the head forward until the glued-in neck piece separates. Then, remove the torso and the remaining neck piece from the hip area using tools like needle-nose pliers or nail scissors. You can also swap the belt and arms if desired. Next, remove the printing with acrylic polish or a fiberglass eraser. The most challenging part involves inserting a small piece of pneumatic hose into the hip area, followed by a 3L bar to serve as a "spine." Finally, reattach the torso, secure it with a 1x1 round plate, and add the desired head.

For space-saving options, you can replace the legs with a 1x2 jumper plate, inserting the 3L bar into the jumper plate's hollow stud. This modification offers a creative way to breathe new life into older LEGO figures, expanding their usability beyond their original design.
