My childhood Lego collection just surprised me

I finally went through the old Lego bin my parents kept in storage. Been sitting there for well over a decade. Took me a while to sort through everything, but I found some parts that I remember using all the time as a kid – and apparently some of them aren't easy to find anymore. Had no idea back then.
