Looking back on it, its pretty weird that the Lego Ninjago Movie is a thing that actually exists.

I don't really hate the movie at all. But what was the thought process here? Why do all the Ninja amount to pretty much barely side characters? Its cool that Ninjago is popular enough it ever got a movie, but why make it so unrelated to the original stuff? You've definitely heard or thought all this before.
