Lone ranger circuit cube help.

I'm trying to add a circuit cube motor to my lone ranger. I'm also trying to avoid to much modification to the model so powering a single axle is ok with me. As you can see from the picture, best I can do is get power to one wheel. I've tried different axle sizes and a few gears I have (all are too big except what came with the motor).
