Lloyd and Arin s3 ep 19-20

Lloyd tells Arin: "you lead, you got this Arin etc etc" From what i watched, it looks like Arin couldnt keep up with Lloyd when they were fighting and couldnt be focused. Lloyd knew that they werent focused/in sync so he let Arin take lead because Lloyd should be able to match Arin combat speed as being his master and to be able to be in sync/in focus to defeat Thunderfang. I have seen people making claims that Lloyd is bad at combat or not as good as Arin but all of this proves Arin cant...
