lego store covering up the qr code

i was at the legoland discovery center in NJ and they had the new minifigures but every single one had this white sticker covering the code. is this a new lego policy or was it just this specific store? i was pretty bummed as this is the first time ive seen these in person and i only want a few so i left without buying anything. submitted by /u/krisplaydespacito [link] [comments]
