Lego‘s and DC/Warner’s weird relationship

Everytime Warner wants to do something with Lego DC, we receive cool stuff like the video games or the Lego Batman Movie. Meanwhile on the other hand it seems like Lego couldn‘t care less about DC. It‘s either another Batmobile (which ends up being the 500th Tumbler anyway) or a D2C set which is also exclusively related to Batman. I guess we could blame this on the low sales of the Snyder movie based sets, but it's still strange that there are no new sets based on the recent Superman movie or...
