LEGO Mission Santa Barbara
A LEGO enthusiast and their son built an impressive Santa Barbara Mission model for a 4th-grade class project. The project, which involved a significant pick-a-brick session at the Costa Mesa LEGO store, evolved from a simple exterior build to a detailed model complete with interior lights and hidden Easter eggs.
The builders put in weeks of work on the Santa Barbara Mission project. The project started with the intention of just building the outside of the mission. However, the building process proved so enjoyable that they expanded the project to include more details. The final model features interior lighting and a fun Easter egg hunt, with mini Minecraft character bricks hidden throughout.
The project was a success, with the son proudly showcasing the LEGO Santa Barbara Mission to his classmates. This project demonstrates the creative possibilities of LEGO building and the fun that can be had when creating a unique model.
