Lego Gungan Army Advice

Hello, I am working on assembling components for a Battle of Naboo MOC from the Phantom Menace. I have plenty of battle droids and am working on acquiring the tan AATs. However, I need some advice on the Gungan army. These images show what I have so far. Should I spend my money focused on acquiring more of the old Gungan models (green legs and torso with purple shield)? Or newer Gungan minifigs with head printing brown/legs torso and translucent purple shields)? I don’t know which is more...
