Lego DCC system

I was wondering if anyone here uses a DCC system similar to what’s used in classic model trains. If so, how did you configure everything (controller, power, decoders, etc.)? I’m especially curious about how complex the setup was and whether it integrates well with Lego-based trains or layouts. Also, do you think there would be interest in buying such a system if it were available, obviously not official? I’d like to understand if there’s real demand and what features people would expect....
